Legal Advisor - Cape TownRequirements:An LLB or other recognised law degree with strong academic credentialsAdmitted attorney with relevant bar council or legal practice councilMinimum 3-5 years post qualification experience in a legal corporate environment (large law firm or as in-house legal counsel)Commercial/Corporate Law experience preferredTechnology, Intellectual Property, Telecommunications and/or Fintech background or experience will be highly advantageousResponsibilities:Responsible co-creating and delivering the Legal team's vision and agendaResponsible for ensuring excellent execution on a number of strategic legal and governance activities across the businessBe a true service provider - understand the business stakeholders, content partners and customersxe2x80x99 needs and deliver an excellent legal support experienceAssessing and ensuring compliance with laws and regulatory requirements applicable to the business and in the territories in which the organization operate and other areas of the business as the business evolvesCo-development and implementation of legal template agreements, guidance playbooks and assistingon drafting of policies to ensure compliance with latest laws, business requirements and industry best practiceLegal support of all IP, legal and regulatory issues across the companyxe2x80x99s brands and projects, this includes drafting, reviewing, amending legal templates and agreements of the business for all services providers, partners, and other regulatory bodies
