Job Description
Job Summary
Requirements:
- An LLB or other recognised law degree with strong academic credentials
- Admitted attorney with relevant bar council or legal practice council
- Minimum 3-5 years post qualification experience in a legal corporate environment (large law firm or as in-house legal counsel)
- Commercial/Corporate Law experience preferred
- Technology, Intellectual Property, Telecommunications and/or Fintech background or experience will be highly advantageous
- Responsible co-creating and delivering the Legal team's vision and agenda
- Responsible for ensuring excellent execution on a number of strategic legal and governance activities across the business
- Be a true service provider - understand the business stakeholders, content partners and customers' needs and deliver an excellent legal support experience
- Assessing and ensuring compliance with laws and regulatory requirements applicable to the business and in the territories in which the organization operate and other areas of the business as the business evolves
- Co-development and implementation of legal template agreements, guidance playbooks and assisting
