Job Requirements
For appointment at Lecturer level
A Master's degree in English. At least three (3) years of teaching experience in English at the tertiary level, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience. Publications in peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed journals will be a strong recommendation.
For appointment at Junior Lecturer
An Honours degree in English. Proof of registration for a Master's degree in English will be an added advantage.
Duties:
Teach English modules at the Foundation level. Conduct research in the relevant field and contribute to the institution's research output. Supervise and mentor postgraduate students undertaking research projects in mainstream programmes. Engage in Community Engagement and Entrepreneurship initiatives. Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Provide support in teaching related modules as required. Develop and maintain an active research profile in the field of English. Participate in interdisciplinary and collaborative research projects within and beyond the institution. * Contribute to curriculum development and promote innovative teaching practices to enhance student learning.
