Lecturer: Urban Regional Planning

Job Description

Contribute to curriculum development and to teach according to a set syllabus while providing support to the faculty in achieving its academic objectives, contribute to academic initiatives undertaken by the faculty to enhance, support faculty and departmental research initiatives by undertaking research and contributing towards group research, undertake academic administration and faculty training initiatives. Engage in work-integrated learning and service-learning activities support and expand programmes for co-operative education.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A Master's Degree in Town/ Urban/ City and Regional Planning
(The candidate must have obtained the underpinning or relevant undergraduate qualification(s) within the field of study)
  • At least two (2) years' experience in teaching Urban and Regional Planning at a Higher Education Institution
Recommendations:
  • At least three (3) years' industry experience in Urban and Regional Planning
  • Advanced skills in the application of CAD and GIS in Urban and Regional Planning
  • A track record of publishing research articles in accredited journals
