FOR APPOINTMENT AT THE LEVEL OF LECTURER
The candidate must hold a Master's degree in English Language Teaching/ English Language Studies/ Applied Language Studies (English). S/he should have a minimum of three years of teaching experience at a tertiary institution or five years of relevant professional experience. A strong theoretical background in English language structure is essential. Publications in accredited journals will be considered an advantage. The candidate must be able to manage workload effectively, possess strong administrative skills, and deliver teaching that stimulates, engages, and inspires students to learn.
FOR APPOINTMENT AT THE LEVEL OF JUNIOR LECTURER
An Honours degree in English Language.
DUTIES
The candidate will teach, develop and review curricula at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. S/he will supervise postgraduate students, actively participate in community engagement and research activities. Additionally, the candidate is expected to contribute fully to the overall attainment of the strategic objectives of the university.
