STADIO Higher Education is inviting applications for the position of:

Lecturer / Senior Lecturer:

School of Law

Key roles and responsibilities:

Lecturing (with specific focus on private law and/or mercantile law) and associated responsibilities Assessment and moderation Marking assessments (assignments and exams) and providing feedback Development of study material and management of relevant modules on campus in collaboration with module coordinator Student support Research and scholarship Academic administration and other delegated duties Participation in school and campus community and school and campus events Professional development Using the Learning Management System (LMS)

Minimum requirements



A South African LLD degree in the relevant field (or a closely related field)

Expertise in the relevant field of private law and/or mercantile law

Relevant teaching experience in higher education

Good knowledge of Canvas as an online learning management system/tool

Good knowledge of legal databases such as JutaStat, LexisNexis, Sabinet

A research track record

Advantageous:

Admission as a legal practitioner

Qualifications
