The IIE Varsity College , Westville has a vacancy for a Lecturer within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of Education for the below modules:

Research Methodology and Statistics (REMS8411)

Competencies required:

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills Excellent Presentation Skills Assertiveness and dynamism Understanding of customer service in education Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

Minimum Education Requirements:

A minimum of a Research Masters in Psychology and preferably lecturing experience in Research Methodology and statistics. Alternatively, a NQF 9 Psychology qualification that includes an academic research component with a research methodology module successfully completed at NQF8.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

A research portfolio that includes extensive experience in quantitative research methodologies.

Working Conditions:

Please note that this is a Part-time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00. Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
