The IIE Varsity College , Westville Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer within the School of Computer Science for the below module:

Web Development (WEDE5020)

Competencies required:

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills Excellent Presentation Skills Assertiveness and dynamism Understanding of customer service in education Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

Minimum Education Requirements:

A 3 year diploma in Information Systems/Information Technology/Computing. Alternatively, a 3 year diploma in similarly related fields with web programming or a similarly related field to the third year level.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Lecturing experience in web programming. Work experience as a Web Developer/Web Programmer or Software Development.

Working Conditions:

Please note that this is a Part-time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00. Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
