DUTIES:
Development of Educational Materials

• Develop lesson plans in line with the curriculum planning for sequencing of educational content, utilising a variety of teaching methodologies to ensure active learner participation
• Update and maintain lecture notes and educational tools

Management of Classroom Resources

• Manage and maintain classroom facilities and equipment
• Schedule classroom equipment in line with weekly roster and lesson plans and managing and controlling classroom stock

Lecturing and Facilitation

• Prepare and deliver lectures, designing and organising course material, and assisting with the development of curriculum content
• Use various instructional methods such as lectures, interactive discussions, multimedia presentations and hands-on activities
• Guide students in their learning journey, helping them to grasp complex concepts, develop critical thinking skills and apply theoretical knowledge to practical situation

Monitoring and Assessment of Educational Outcomes

• Evaluate student performance by utilising various assessment methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to students, identifying areas for improvement and recognising student achievement

Learner Support

• Provide guidance, mentorship and support to students, encouraging them to explore ideas, ask questions and pursue independent research
• Play a role in academic advising, assisting students in planning their academic trajectories
• Create a supportive learning environment

Professional Development

• Keep abreast with new, updated techniques and the latest research within the industry

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 Years Industry Experience
• Grade 12
• Relevant NQF Level 7 qualification i.e., B.Tech, Somatology or Advanced Diploma in Dermal Aesthetics OR Advanced Diploma in Somatology
• CIDESCO Beauty Therapy Qualification
• Must be familiar with MS Office
• Training Facilitation Certificate, e.g., ETDP (Education Training and Development Practitioner) - Advantageous
• Assessor Training and Holistic Therapies xe2x80x93 Advantageous
