Durban University of Technology (DUT) is located on the warm east coast of South Africa. It sprawls over seven


(7) campuses in tropical and picturesque Durban, and in Pietermaritzburg, with its undulating hills that flow over from the Drakensberg Mountain.

LECTURER POSITION: REF R102

Lecturer

A Master's Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent At least 3 years' experience in the clinical field Registration with (HPCSA) as a

Radiation therapist

Drivers licence

Additional Recommendation

Preference may be given to a candidate with a dual qualification in Radiotherapy and Diagnostic Radiography Networking and leadership skills A motivated self-starter, responsible and accountable individual and a team player Good Organizational and administrative skills Proficiency in researching writing and communications skills Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and email use

Summary of Duties

Competent preparation and delivery of learning materials related to Radiotherapy/ Radiography at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level Ability to facilitate learning effectively- through traditional and online mediums Undertake assessment and administration duties related to teaching learning and research Undertake research and publications and become involved in community engagement projects Undertake any additional duties assigned by HOD Working collegially with team members towards attaining the goals of the department, faculty and institution
