The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus has a vacancy for a (Insert Job Title) in the following module:

Teaching Intermediate Phase English First and FAL 1 and 2

Competencies:

Communication Skills. Organizational Skills Effective Classroom Management Open to Development

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

B.Ed. Honours degree or an Honours degree in Afrikaans or another Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8) in IP/SP/FET/HE

And:

The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.

And:

The undergraduate qualification must include Afrikaans as a major (up to third year level) or the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF level 8) must include Afrikaans as a didactic subject.

Minimum Work Experience Requirement:

Teaching/lecturing experience in Afrikaans at Intermediate Phase/Senior Phase/Further Education and Training band/Higher Education band is required. Note: Teaching experience does not include experience gained during Teaching practice / Work Integrated Learning / Intern work or being a Teaching assistant.
