Lecturer in Business Management (JB4137)

This position offers a competitive hourly rate that is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The role is on a fixed-term contract basis or as an independent contractor.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lecturer in Business Management to join our team. Lecturer will be based on Campus

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management OR National Diploma in Business Management
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience
At least 1 year of teaching experience essential
Previous experience delivering lectures both on-campus and online, preferably with hybrid (semi-remote/online) students.

Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures on a variety of subjects within the Business Management Nated Programme, including Introduction to Computer Practice N4, Introductory Accounting N4, Management Communication N4, Entrepreneurship and Business Management N4-N6, Labour Relations N5-N6, Sales Management N5-N6, Public Relations N5, and Marketing Management N4.
Contribute to the development of academic content and course materials.
Assist with administrative tasks related to courses and attend departmental meetings as required.
Stay updated on service standards and actively engage in personal and professional development.
Research and develop new topics, courses, and teaching materials, including online resources.
Participate in examination certification processes and actively promote student success.
Conduct face-to-face contact sessions with students and provide support to distance learners.

Key Performance Areas:
Develop and deliver high-quality academic content through effective lecturing.
Demonstrate academic leadership by engaging in research activities.
Monitor student records and academic progress.
Assist with general academic administration tasks.
Provide support and conduct contact sessions for distance learners.
