It offers a range of specialised undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that capacitate and educate students across multiple disciplines.
The Arts and Humanities Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) provides comprehensive interdisciplinary foundational provision across five modules for students selected for the extended four-year Bachelor of Arts, with specific emphasis on developing critical academic literacy and critical citizenship.
The successful candidate will be appointed in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and as part of the Extended Curriculum Programme, will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

  • Facilitate interdisciplinary learning for undergraduate Extended Curriculum Provision in the Arts and Humanities;
  • Provide academic leadership and administration;
  • Undertake curriculum development and assessment;
  • Participate in community engagement and outreach.
Minimum Requirements
  • Masters qualification or equivalent in the field of the Arts and Humanities;
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating learning in Arts and Humanities specific to the Extended Curriculum Program.

  • Presentation and facilitation skills;
  • Adaptability and the ability to operate in a diverse environment;
  • Student focused approach;
  • Planning and organising skills;
  • Computer literacy and e-learning skills;
  • Technical professional knowledge and skills in the discipline and in the core strategic areas, namely learning and teaching, research and scholarship, community engagement as well as professional leadership.
