Requirements



Relevant Honours qualification, preferably in

Policing/Traffic/HRD/Education/Law



Registered Assessor and Moderator within Policing/Traffic

Environment



A minimum of 3-5 years facilitator/lecturer experience in an

Accredited Traffic/Metropolitan Police College training environment



or operational experience within a law enforcement environment



Intermediate computer literacy - Office applications Driving license (Code B/EB) - manual transmission Knowledge of all relevant legislation, regulations and policies Physically fit and able bodied Exposure to all weather conditions Exposure to conditions associated with Shooting Ranges including

but not limited to noise, smoke, long period standing/walking



Perform standby duties as per roster and instruction as and when

required



No Criminal record

Key Performance Areas



Manage the design, development, delivery and evaluation of

theoretical and practical training up to NQF level 7 to learners



enrolled at the Public Safety Training College



To implement and ensure skills development and reporting to

external quality assurers



To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders and service

providers



Communicating professional knowledge in relation to training to

internal clients



To deliver, monitor and improve customer service, in order to ensure

that high levels of customer service is maintained



Handling of routine administrative tasks in relation to the training

function



Management and optimization of resources, administrative and

logistical processes



Direct and control outcomes associated with utilisation, productivity

and performance of Facilitators within the Public Safety Training
