: As a Lecturer in Acting for Camera, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. Your responsibilities will encompass adhering to the highest educational standards outlined in the assessment handbook, quality control council regulations, and our institution's teaching and learning guide. Additionally, you will actively engage in various organizational activities.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum of a degree in a relevant field
- BA honors in Acting, Dramatic Arts or similar
- Qualification one level higher than the course being taught (Diploma in Professional Acting for Camera)
- Ongoing or completed studies at NQF Level 9
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of lecturing experience
Content Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of course content, ensuring it remains current and relevant to the subjects taught.
Teaching and Learning: Prepare and deliver engaging lectures while providing supplementary materials to enrich the learning experience for students.
Assessment: Be responsible for the creation, moderation, and assessment of student assignments, projects, and examinations. * Research: Participate in individual and collaborative research initiatives when opportunities arise.
