JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Master's in forestry or plant production with a strong background (BSc) in Forestry.
Evidence of remarkable progress in a PhD in Forestry or Environmental Science will be an added advantage
3 years teaching experience at a tertiary institution, or 5 years professional experience in the relevant field.
At least 1 publication in an accredited peer-reviewed Journal will be an added advantage
DUTIES
The successful applicant will be required to teach Forestry modules at all levels in the specified areas.
Advise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in a variety of academic endeavors fields of interest include Silviculture, Forest Policy, Agroforestry, Forest Health and Forest Management, Logging, and roads.
