Eduvos is looking to employ the services of an

Learning Technologies Specialist

on a permanent basis, to be based at any of our National Eduvos campuses.

Purpose of the role:





The Learning Technologies Specialist supports Eduvos' academic transformation by identifying, implementing, and managing educational technology tools that enhance teaching, learning, and assessment. This includes proctoring solutions, academic integrity platforms, Moodle plug-ins, and emerging AI/gamification tools.



The role ensures seamless institutional adoption, support, training, and evaluation of external academic tools by collaborating across academic, student support, IT, and operational teams. The incumbent will serve as a key liaison between Eduvos and technology vendors, coordinate software licences and budgets, and build internal capacity for tool usage and support. Positioned within the Eduvos Nexus team, the Specialist contributes to digital strategy execution and the effective use of EdTech at scale

Minimum Requirements



Minimum qualification level:




+ Bachelor's degree. (Bachelor's in in Education or IT advantageous). + Postgraduate qualification in Education, Project Management or IT advantageous).
+ Certifications in Moodle, AI in education, or EdTech tools (advantageous).


Minimum experience:




Minimum 3 years' experience managing the cross-functional implementation of EdTech tools in a higher education environment. Experience in vendor management, training delivery, and coordinating support strategies. Familiarity with managing the implementation and adoption of academic integrity, proctoring, or AI-assisted teaching and assessment technologies. Experience with Moodle, Microsoft Suite, and educational plug-in ecosystems.

Duties and Responsibilities




As the

Learning Technologies Specialist,

you will be responsible for the following:


New learning technologies reviewed and piloted in collaboration with faculties and DFL; in consultation with other stakeholder groups such as National Assessment Office (NAO) and IT. Institutional needs analyses and market scans conducted annually All institutionally approved EdTech tools implemented, via guiding documentation, training plans, and usage guidelines. Cross-functional onboarding completed on time (incl. train-the-trainer initiatives, to ensure scalability of training interventions in other departments) Product relationships maintained; issues escalated and resolved promptly. Annual licence renewals and budgets managed efficiently, in alignment with strategic use and uptake. Training and enablement resources for staff and support teams developed. LMS team and other tech support teams capacitated to assist students effectively. Staff development sessions on EdTech tools planned and delivered. Participation in relevant forums and professional networks. Cross-departmental roles and responsibilities clarified per tool. Support protocols, escalation paths and FAQs developed and disseminated. Usage data and feedback analysed and presented quarterly. Recommendations made for renewal, discontinuation, or optimisation of tools. Collaborates on digital transformation and curriculum innovation initiatives. Alignment with academic digitalisation and Nexus strategic goals ensured.

Functional and Behavioural Competencies

Knowledge of EdTech trends, tools, and integration strategies. Proficient in LMS administration (Moodle preferred) and learning plug-in implementation. Data-informed approach to monitoring tool usage and impact. Strong skills in technical documentation and user support enablement. Ability to evaluate educational tools through a pedagogical and operational lens.
