Learning & Development Manager HR
KwaZulu Natal - South Africa
Our client is looking for a dynamic Learning & Development Manager to lead the design and implementation of learning strategies that empower their teams and strengthen organisational capability. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative learning and development strategies that align with business goals.
• Oversee the planning, sourcing, facilitation, and evaluation of all training programmes.
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to identify and meet learning needs.
• Manage the annual skills plan and operational implementation plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant HR and training legislation, including BBBEE requirements.
• Maintain financial oversight of the L&D budget and drive cost-effective initiatives.
• Continuously review and improve L&D processes to deliver world-class learning solutions.
• Provide insights and reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Champion safety, quality, and sustainability within the L&D function.

Key Requirements:

• Honours in Industrial/Organisational Psychology, Human Resource Management, ETD, Training Management, Adult Learning, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a complex, technical, or forestry/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of HR and training legislation, BBBEE practices, and statutory reporting.
• Previous registration as a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) advantageous.
• Assessor, Facilitator, or Moderator certification a plus.
• A valid drivers licence (Code 08 / EB).
