Eduvos is looking to hire the services of an

Learning & Development Manager

. This is a National role with the successful candidate operating from their nearest Eduvos campus as a base.

Purpose :




To deliver the strategic and operational skills development agenda of the organisation relevant to organisational leadership and employees To enable the provision of best-in-class leadership and functional learning and development service offerings for delivery within Eduvos

Minimum Requirements



B-degree in Education/ HR Development/ HR Management or related field is required A post-graduate degree is required, preferably in HRD / HR Management/Business Management or related field The incumbent will be expected to generate innovative solutions and proposals, and to exercise judgement and discretion in decision making within the constraints of the policies and processes of Eduvos

Duties and Responsibilities



Learning and Development Management



Analysis of business and operational training and development needs to enable the implementation of new training programs or modify existing programs Identification of appropriate and fit-for-purpose learning and development initiatives ensuring alignment to business requirements and priorities Identification of leading and appropriate leadership development programs and initiatives in collaboration with Talent Management suitable for Eduvos Identification and sourcing of suitable suppliers for both operational business training and leadership development in collaboration with business leaders, Talent Management, and other key stakeholders Evaluation of supplier performance against contracts or SLAs relating to the effectiveness of training which includes training delivery methods, i.e. classroom training, digital learning, experiential learning, etc. Development of training materials including e-learning materials, handouts, workshops, presentations, etc. when required

Skills Development Facilitation and alignment with BBBEE



Development, implementation and communication of a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report encompassing the training deliverables and time frames in accordance with SETA requirements Implementation of an integrated WSP to effectively address business imperatives and consequent skills spend Implementation, submission, tracking, and reporting of the application of mandatory, pivotal and discretionary grants

Skills Audits

Evaluation and assessment of the skills, knowledge, and abilities of employees, a department, or the whole organization to identify skills gaps and weaknesses by conducting skills audits Determine the skills levels of employees in the organisation to inform and support the planning of future skills development programmes and initiatives

Governance, Reporting and Risk Management

Development and implementation of policy, processes and controls to enable the effective management of learning and development in the organisation Identification of key risks that may impede the effectiveness of learning and development, and develop and implement effective mitigating plans and actions in collaboration with key stakeholders in the business Compilation and submission of formal and ad hoc reports timeously, accurately and in the required format to ensure compliance to both statutory and business management requirements

Data Analytics in Reporting



Identification of key HRIS data and information for reporting purposes Utilisation of data analytics in progress, performance, and management reports to improve the quality of information provided to management, to improve the effectiveness of decision making

Stakeholder Relations Management



Establishment of sound relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers to support alignment and collaboration Effective management of stakeholders to support the management of customer expectations

Functional and Behavioural Competencies



Depth of knowledge and application and know-how of relevant regulatory frameworks (Skills Development Act, BBBEE, labour legislation, etc.) Advanced knowledge of learning and development delivery methodologies and technology Sound knowledge of cutting-edge leadership development initiatives Working knowledge of talent management processes and methodologies Stakeholder management Operate within the policies and procedures of Eduvos. Recommend strategies, policies and processes to the HR leadership team within approved timeframes and budgets. Work closely with Talent Management to ensure alignment of Learning & Development with Talent Management processes * Integration of learning and development with business requirements and the other functional areas within HR
