Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Learning and Development Manager

to oversee and manage our Learnership Programme. The ideal candidate will ensure the successful planning, implementation, compliance, and reporting of all learnership activities. Experience working with SETA processes is highly advantageous.

Key responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage the full learnership lifecycle from recruitment to completion.

Ensure programme compliance with SETA requirements and learnership regulations.

Liaise with SETAs, training providers, facilitators, assessors, and moderators.

Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.

Track learner attendance, performance, progression, and overall programme deliverables.

Compile and submit reports to stakeholders and SETAs as required.

Manage budgets, timelines, risks, and resources related to the programme.

Provide support and guidance to learners throughout the programme.

Ensure quality assurance and maintain accurate record-keeping for audits.

Coordinate workplace experience placements where required.

Requirements

Proven experience in Learning and Development preferably within a Call Centre training and Learnership environment.

Knowledge of SETA processes, compliance, and reporting requirements (advantageous).

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-relationship management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Relevant qualification in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Training & Development, or related field (preferred).
