To create, curate, and deliver high-quality learning content and assessments that support the Academy's adviser curriculum, including the facilitation of training programmes and ensuring accurate assessment and moderation across technical, digital, behavioral, system and other critical skill areas. This role integrates innovative digital learning strategies, such as e-learning platforms, virtual classrooms, and blended methodologies. Additionally, the specialist develops change management content for staff, teams, and leaders, which equip them with tools and frameworks that drive engagement, adoption, and sustainable transformation.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Education or relevant field
A NQF 6 Financial Services Related qualification (preferred)
ODETDP NQF 5 (preferred)
Experience:
Proven experience in learning and development, including content creation and facilitation
A minimum of 5 years of Industry Experience (preferred)
Well-developed business acumen
Experienced in Facilitation and content design
Proven track record of e-learning techniques
Project Management, Coaching & Facilitation skills (essential)
Knowledge and skills:

Duties and Responsibilities
Design, curate, and deliver learning content and assessments aligned to the Academy adviser curriculum, ensuring they are aligned to clearly defined learning outcomes, learner needs and learning styles
Facilitate training programmes and manage assessment and moderation processes across technical, digital, behavioral, system and other critical skill areas
Develop and implement change management content for staff, teams, and leaders across the organisation to increase change readiness and adaptability at all levels
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure learning interventions meet business needs and drive organisational capability
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and change initiatives, recommending improvements where necessary
Stay abreast of best practices in learning, development, and change management to continuously enhance offerings
Utilize multiple digital channels and opportunities to interface with end users during training to help shift the organizational culture to be engaged in the digital transformation
Actively integrate learning strategies with digital learning solutions to create and sustain a digital learning experience
Support the implementation and execution of a digital learning strategy across the business
Develop innovative learning content that supports the Academy's strategy towards a hybrid delivery approach, including e-learning and other digital learning tools
Develop, implement and maintain assessment and moderation framework and tools to enable accreditation of learners ensuring that SAQA principles of assessment and moderation are adhered to
Establish and implement high-quality design standards and ensure all programmes are aligned to digital practices
Evaluate the effectiveness of the designed curriculum and review accordingly
Incorporate customer feedback in content design to ensure continued relevance and responsiveness to business and other customer needs
