We have an amazing Opportunity for a Lead Structural Engineer in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)

Key Requirements:

xc2xb7 BSc / BEng Engineering degree in civil / structural engineering or an appropriate / similar qualification.

xc2xb7 Registered as a Professional Engineer with ECSA.

xc2xb7 15+ years appropriate post qualification experience in structural concrete and steelwork designs of multi-level buildings, industrial plants and water retaining structures.

xc2xb7 Experienced in the compilation and submission of tenders and proposals for procuring consulting engineering work

xc2xb7 Prior experience with the compilation of technical specifications and BOQs for the procurement of contractors.

xc2xb7 Proficient in Prokon software.

xc2xb7 Good MS Office knowledge with strong MS Excel skills.

xc2xb7 CAD and 3D modelling skills will be advantages.

Personal Attributes:

xc2xb7 Possess a detailed understanding of engineering activities required for consulting, engineering services, EPCM and EPC contracts.

xc2xb7 Possess a broad understanding of, and have interacted with other design engineering disciplines, i.e. Process, Civil, Structural, Instrumentation, and Electrical.

xc2xb7 Have strong leadership and management skills in managing projects and teams.

xc2xb7 Skilled in networking with potential clients / business partners in both the private and public sectors to secure work outside conventional tender processes.
