Job Description

Summary: The Lead SQL Developer with 5 - 8 years experience is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions to meet the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data management, data warehouse design, and automation and optimization. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data solutions to meet the needs of the business
• Translate business requirements into efficient work products, including BI reporting and ETL
• Work with data analysts, business intelligence analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and integrity of data
• Develop and maintain data warehouse and data mart models
• Develop and implement ETL processes to load data into data warehouses and data marts
• Develop and implement BI reports and dashboards
• Work with business users to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Automate and optimize work products to streamline maintenance and resources
• Provide technical thought leadership and support to the team

Qualifications:

• 5 - 8+ years of experience in SQL Development, including experience with BI, SQL, SSIS, and database design
• Experience in the Banking industry is highly advantageous
• Experience in automation and optimization is a plus
• Experience in VBA is an advantage
• Associated tertiary degree
