Lead Software Developer: Automotive Controls
Cape Town
International company. Embedded development, -verification and -maintenance of software on the display hardware. Skills needed in RTOS and microprocessor designs
Qualification:
- B Eng. Degree in Mechatronic / Electronic Engineering (M-preferred)
- Willing to travel overseas for variable periods
- Minimum 10 years experience in embedded design
- Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of J1939 CAN communication and associated test tools/equipment.
- Embedded software development for products in the automotive environment
- Take ownership of the software development for the product portfolio
- Responsible for the development, -verification and -maintenance of software
- Field- and verification testing
- Support software development
- Work with controller hardware suppliers during product development
