We are seeking a highly skilled

Lead

QA Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through comprehensive functional testing, UI testing, and defect tracking. The candidate should have hands-on experience with JIRA and a good understanding of automation testing as a secondary skill.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute functional test cases to validate software functionality and business requirements. Perform

UI testing

across multiple browsers and platforms to ensure a consistent user experience. Identify, Log, track, and manage defects using

JIRA

. Implement CI/CD testing pipelines. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback. Participate in requirement review sessions and provide inputs from a QA perspective. Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Support automation initiatives by creating and executing automation scripts as needed. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in

Functional Testing

and

UI Testing

. Hands-on experience with

JIRA

for defect tracking and project management. Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, test methodologies, and QA processes. Ability to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Experience with automation tools such as

Selenium

,

TestNG

, or

Postman

. Basic understanding of API testing. Knowledge of version control systems like

Git

. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
