Job Description

As a Lead Product Owner, you will be responsible for both product success and people leadership. You will define the vision and strategy for a significant product area while leading and mentoring a talented team of Product Owners. This role requires a perfect blend of strategic thinking, deep product ownership expertise, and exceptional agile leadership to guide your team and stakeholders toward delivering exceptional value.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Define, communicate, and drive the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product portfolio. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Owners, fostering a culture of excellence, autonomy, and continuous improvement. Oversee the creation and prioritization of product backlogs and roadmaps, ensuring they align with strategic business goals and user needs. Act as the key liaison between senior leadership, business stakeholders, design, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and clear communication. Promote and refine our agile processes, ensuring teams are working effectively and delivering value iteratively. Drive a deep understanding of our customers' needs through market research, data analysis, and direct feedback to inform product decisions.

What You'll Bring to the Table

We're looking for a seasoned product professional with a proven track record of both building great products and leading people.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment, with a significant portion of that time in a senior or lead capacity. A strong background in leading and mentoring other Product Owners, with the ability to inspire and guide a team. The ability to develop a compelling product vision and a realistic roadmap to achieve it. Exceptional skills in communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and align diverse groups of people. Deep knowledge of agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and how to apply them effectively at scale A strong analytical mindset with experience using data and metrics to drive product decisions and measure success. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-PO), or similar advanced certification. Experience working in a fast-growing tech company or on enterprise-level products.
