Lead Product Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end development of switching and payment solutions, ensuring high availability and regulatory compliance.
Provide expert-level support on Base24 Classic, including configuration, migration, certification, and transaction verification.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across ATM, POS, and EFT channels.
Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with helpdesk and stakeholders for timely issue resolution.
Maintain system health through proactive checks (EMS logs, disk space, batch jobs, file processing, and node statuses).
Integrate solutions with SWIFT, Visa, and Mastercard systems, ensuring certification standards are met.
Oversee CI/CD deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement robust cloud-based solutions on AWS.
Guide junior engineers, enforce coding standards, and lead sprint planning and delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on AWS, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
Strong understanding of concepts like high availability and their application in software development.
Familiarity with SWIFT standards and their integration into financial systems.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD practices
Experience with Rancher, Trace Transformer, and Postgres will be highly regarded.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Methodologies Required (Mandatory):
Min 8 years Java experience, exposure to EFT, ATM and POS is must
5 years + experience with AWS, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
SWIFT standards and their integration into financial systems.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD practices
Languages:
Tandem COBOL, SCobol, TAL, TACL (Batch and online servers), PATHWAYExperience in ENFORM, FUP, SCUP, DBU, DDL, INSPECT, SPOOLER
Database like Enscribe, Non-stop SQL, DB2 and VSAM
Between 7 - 10 Years
