About the Role

As

Clinical Lead

, you'll not only deliver top-tier wound care across clinic, home, GP practices, and hospital visits, but you'll also support the development of junior clinicians, contribute to protocol optimisation, and ensure clinical consistency within our growing network. You'll work independently, with the full backing of the WoundNet admin and leadership team, and help shape the future of wound care in the region.

This is a

managerial role

, requiring

advanced competencies in both clinical practice and leadership/management

. The ideal candidate holds a

Master of Science (NQF Level 9)

and combines strong clinical autonomy with strategic oversight, ensuring high-quality service delivery, mentorship, and ongoing innovation in wound care.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

? Valid SANC registration

? A recognised specialisation in wound care (mandatory)

? Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in advanced wound care

? OR equivalent experience in hospital vascular surgery with strong wound care expertise

? Leadership potential or experience mentoring others

? Confidence in clinical autonomy and decision-making

? Reliable transport and flexibility to work across multiple care settings

? A deep passion for quality, innovation, and patient education

This is a senior clinical role. Applications without the required qualifications and experience will not be considered.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Delivering evidence-based, high-quality wound care in clinic, home, GP, and hospital settings Mentoring and supporting junior or new independent nurses as needed Collaborating with the WoundNet clinical leadership to refine protocols and ensure best practices Acting as a point of escalation for complex cases in your area Promoting a consistent, patient-focused standard of care across the network
