The Role
We're looking for a confident, organised
Lead Generator / Appointment Setter
to support our Growth team. This role is focused purely on
outbound calling and follow-ups
to book
qualified meetings
with schools for the Head of Growth.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people, is comfortable on the phone, and wants exposure to a high-performing sales environment - without owning the full sales cycle.
What You'll Do
Outbound calling:
Call schools from provided lists to introduce Karri and identify interest.
Qualification:
Speak to decision-makers (principals, bursars, finance teams) to confirm fit and readiness.
Meeting booking:
Secure and book qualified meetings directly into the Head of Growth's calendar.
Follow-ups:
Re-engage schools that have shown interest or requested a later conversation.
CRM hygiene:
Log calls, notes, and outcomes accurately in HubSpot.
Feedback loop:
Share insights from calls to help refine messaging and targeting.
What We're Looking For
Confident, professional phone manner.
Clear communicator in
English and Afrikaans
.
Highly organised and consistent with follow-ups.
Comfortable working from call lists and scripts.
Able to qualify interest and manage objections calmly.
Familiar with basic CRM usage (HubSpot a plus).
1-3 years of experience in call centre, lead generation, sales support, or customer-facing roles.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience calling schools or educational institutions.
Interest in fintech, SaaS, or education.
Previous appointment-setting or lead generation experience.
