Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of enterprise-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with business priorities.
- Champion data governance, quality, and compliance initiatives across all business units.
- Define and enforce data architecture standards, ensuring consistency and transparency.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years in data, analytics, or technology roles within banking, telecommunications, or insurance.
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven success in bridging business and technology for enterprise-wide data delivery.
- Strong technical expertise in Azure Synapse, SQL, and data integration platforms.
- Knowledge of South African data governance and compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to execute analytics use cases and lead data governance frameworks.
