Were looking for a Lead Banking, Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable to oversee centralised finance delivery across all Merchant entities Adumo, Cash Connect, Kazang and GAAP. This senior role blends operational excellence, governance, cashflow management, and people leadership, ensuring strong controls and worldclass service delivery.

Purpose
This role is accountable for the centralised delivery of banking, AR and AP services across all Merchant entities.
It begins with supporting the migration and integration of these functions into Shared Services. Once stabilised, the role shifts to:

• Building sustainable, highquality service delivery
• Strengthening governance and internal controls
• Embedding operational discipline and cashflow visibility
• Driving automation, efficiency and standardisation
• Leading a highperforming finance operations team

This is a senior management role requiring strong leadership, commercial acumen and the ability to partner across business units while maintaining a resilient, wellgoverned Shared Services function.

Key Responsibilities
Centralisation, Standardisation & PostIntegration Leadership

• Lead consolidation of banking, AR and AP processes across all Merchant entities.
• Oversee stabilisation and maintain predictable, highquality outputs.
• Maintain and enforce standardised SOPs, RACMs and workflows.
• Drive automation and reduce manual processing.
• Build SLAs and strong communication channels with Finance Leads, Operations & Procurement.

Banking Management & Engagement with Group Treasury

• Oversee daily bank reconciliations and banking controls.
• Ensure daily cash visibility across entities.
• Engage Group Treasury on cashflow, liquidity and optimisation.
• Provide consolidated cash insights, variances and trend analysis.
• Lead consolidated cashflow forecasting (daily/weekly/monthly/annual).
• Resolve complex banking issues and escalate risks.
• Identify workingcapital optimisation opportunities.

Accounts Receivable (AR) Billing, Collections & Escalations

• Ensure accurate billing, receipting and debtor allocation.
• Lead structured, centralised collections processes.
• Act as escalation point for disputed or overdue accounts.
• Partner with Operations & Sales for customer resolution and billing accuracy.
• Produce consolidated AR reporting by entity, segment and ageing.

Accounts Payable (AP) Supplier Engagement & Governance

• Oversee supplier onboarding, invoice processing & payment scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority and governance frameworks.
• Partner with Procurement on performance, contracts and dispute resolution.
• Maintain accurate supplier master data across all entities.

Intercompany, Controls, Audit, SLA Management & Automation

• Oversee all intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Standardise crossentity charges, recharges and allocations.
• Maintain strong IFRS, SOX and Groupaligned control environment.
• Participate in internal & external audits as required.
• Strengthen preventative/detective controls across banking, AR and AP.
• Develop SLAs and automated dashboards for throughput, ageing and exceptions.
• Drive automation with IT & BI for reporting and workflow tracking.
• Use analytics to increase transparency, accountability and operational performance.

People Leadership

• Lead, mentor and develop a highperforming Banking, AR & AP team.
• Set KPIs, behavioural standards and performance expectations.
• Foster a culture of excellence, service and continuous improvement.
• Support career development, skills upliftment and succession planning.
• Build resilience as process standardisation and automation increase.

Stakeholder Engagement & Operational Partnership

• Partner with Operations to ensure finance processes support efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, CFOs and Group Finance.
• Act as escalation point for operational finance challenges.
• Represent Shared Services in system upgrades, workflow improvements and integration initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory

• Honours degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 58+ years finance experience
• 3+ years leadership experience in AR, AP, banking or Shared Services
• Experience managing multientity finance operations
• Strong ERP systems experience

Preferred

• Completed articles
• Exposure to treasury operations or cash management
• Experience in strong financial control environments
• SOX experience

Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience across AR, AP, banking and cashflow forecasting
• High proficiency in ERP systems and controls
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability
• Strong automation, process optimisation and workflow experience
