We are recruiting an experienced and performance-driven
LCV Brand Manager
to lead the sales, marketing, and customer engagement strategies for the
Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV)
segment at a well-established truck dealership. This strategic role involves managing the LCV product lineup, crafting targeted sales campaigns, and ensuring brand alignment--while driving profitability and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet LCV sales targets.
Identify new opportunities within fleets, SMEs, and independent contractors.
Train and support sales staff on LCV features and benefits.
Monitor market trends and competitor actions to refine sales tactics.
Marketing & Brand Management
Plan and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, and in-person channels.
Ensure brand consistency in all customer-facing materials (showroom, website, social platforms).
Coordinate with OEMs for co-op advertising and national promotions.
Lead events like test drives, fleet demos, and customer appreciation days.
Customer & Dealer Relations
Build strong, trust-based relationships with fleet buyers and business owners.
Oversee after-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with service and parts departments to improve the ownership experience.
Represent the dealership at OEM meetings, expos, and trade shows.
Inventory & Performance Analysis
Work with inventory teams to maintain optimal LCV stock levels.
Track and report on sales performance, lead conversions, and profitability.
Deliver monthly insight reports outlining trends, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Management, or similar (preferred).
Experience:
3+ years in automotive or truck sales, brand management, or commercial vehicle marketing.
Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of vans, pickups, and small truck segments, especially for fleet use.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Tools:
Proficiency in CRM systems, dealership management software (DMS), and digital marketing platforms.
License:
Valid South African driver's license.
