is looking for a well experienced Laundry Manager based in Umhali. The Laundry Manager oversees all operations of the laundry facility, including staff supervision, scheduling, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the laundry process, from intake to delivery,
Supervise and train laundry staff, ensuring adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.
Monitor workflow and productivity to maximize efficiency for all Durban branches.
Monitor and maintain inventory of detergents, chemicals, laundry supplies, and linens
Schedule and assign duties to team members.
Inspect laundry equipment regularly and coordinate repairs as needed
Enforce company policies and procedures related to workplace safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and cleanliness
Maintain accurate records related to laundry production volumes, staff attendance and performance, machine maintenance logs, and supply usage.
Ensure that all KZN branches have their laundry on time daily.
Required Knowledge and Abilities
Excellent communication and strong time management Proven experience in laundry management or similar supervisory role Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work in challenging environments Proficient with email and Microsoft Word and Excel Minimum 2 year's management experience Matric Must be able to work nights, weekends, public holidays.
