Laser Operator
Job Description
Job Summary RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced LASER OPERATOR for a well-established company, position based in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Valid driver's license / own reliable vehicle. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). English / isiZulu speaking (must be able to speak, read and write English / isiZulu competently). 2+yrs experience in manufacturing environment operating laser machines. Inspection of Laser machine and start of machine. Able to do tape shot. Have knowledge of nozzle sizes and inspect. Complete Job cards and call up programme on machine. Ensure first off is completed with Team Leader or Supervisor. Able to program full sheet cutting and offcut programs. Monitor cutting. Knowledge of OK and NG cutting. Loading of second bed whilst 1st bed is cutting. When programme is complete, continue next programme. Ensure that assistant offloads parts as per drawing on to pallet with their assistance. Once job card is completed, operator counts and verifies parts according to Job card and drawing. Ensure sign off of Job card and send parts to press brake. 5S in workstation. General housekeeping.
