What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:





Are you passionate about the power of language? Do you have a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and tone? Curro Holdings is looking for a

Language Specialist

who can help us ensure our content is top-notch, consistent, and impactful across all platforms.



What you'll be doing:


Proofread, edit, and polish content to meet Curro's Language Style Guide Collaborate with writers and design teams to review copy for marketing, communication, and education-related collateral Maintain quality control over language use, tone, and clarity Write and translate content (Afrikaans fluency is a plus!) Juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines like a pro
? What we're looking for:

Minimum:

Matric + a relevant tertiary qualification

Advantageous:

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, or similar Proven experience as a Copy Editor, Language Practitioner, or similar role Strong grasp of language trends and media best practices Skilled in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software Willingness to work overtime when needed
