This role is based in Mokopane, Limpopo.

-Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Apply recognized work and safety standards Operation of all farming equipment and machinery required for role Monitor that farming equipment is in good running order. Complete tasks specific to role to required standard Follow instructions from Farm Supervisor and report back when tasks are completed Report abnormal activities or problems to Farm Supervisor Assist during breakdowns or emergencies Support the Farm Supervisor in identifying material requirements Participate in required meetings Identify opportunities to improve the farming activities Support efforts to overcome operational problems Effective two-way communications with team members Ensure that all required tools and material are available to complete tasks Maintenance of farm fences Maintenance of farm/lodge infrastructure, ie structures, buildings, dams and grounds Implementation of burning programme Implementation of fisheries management program Implementation of bush encroachment programme

This role is at a Band 9 level reporting to the Farm Supervisor.

Qualifications

-Grade 12 Multi skilled operator (Tractor, TLB, Grader) advantageous Code 8 driver's license

1 Year Farm experience
