We are looking for a Laboratory Reference Standard Administrator in ZAF. Your mission will be to:
Are you passionate about precision and quality in laboratory environments? We are seeking a meticulous and highly organised Laboratory Reference Standard Administrator to join our team and ensure the integrity of our reference standards.
This role is central to maintaining the integrity of our pharmaceutical reference standards and ensuring smooth lab operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a sharp eye for detail, and enjoy working with both data and people - this could be the perfect fit.
What you will be doing:

  • You'll be the go-to person for managing reference standards and supporting lab workflows. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Receiving, logging, and storing pharmaceutical reference standards
  • Monitoring stock levels and expiry dates, and keeping clients informed
  • Coordinating quotes, purchase orders, and consumable orders
  • Issuing samples and standards to analysts with proper documentation
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with GMP
  • Supporting general lab administration and sample room organisation
YOUR PROFILE
What we are looking for:
  • A tertiary qualification in Analytical Chemistry or similar (advantageous)
  • 3-4 years of lab or admin experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical setting
  • Familiarity with GMP and reference standard handling
  • Strong Excel skills and overall computer literacy
  • A meticulous, customer-focused mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Someone who works well independently and as part of a team
