Job Description
QualificationsBachelors OR Masters in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Food SciencePurpose of the role:Conduct agreed experimental plan (execute, plan and report writing), SOP development and repetitive sample analyses, hands-on practical trials.Key performance areas:Prepare/receive samples for analytical testing.
Execute analytical testing with precision and interpret results.
Prepare samples for pilot plant trials as required.
Assist with pilot pant trials and report on results as required.
Assist with SOP development for lab/product analyses.
Prepare samples for external testing as required.
Execute experimental plan for product development on test equipment.
Report on findings and communicate to R&D lab manager on all analyses, trials and project outcomes.
Research and evaluate raw materials new and current as required.
Assist with production of raw materials in pilot and/or commercial factory as required.
Maintain database on analytical findings.Skills and AbilitiesOutgoingGood analytical thinker and interpretation of analytical resultsGood communication skills verbal and written
