Time Conditions: 5 day Work Week (South Africa)
Purpose of Position: To receive and process specimens accurately in the Genetics Laboratory. To perform material management tasks in the Genetics lab.
Requirements: Grade 12 (Required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (Required)
Required Experience: Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Meditech system, Materials Management experience
Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain laboratory and relevant equipment in order to ensure a clean and safe work environment., Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath., Perform general laboratory tasks in order to ensure the effective functioning of the laboratory., Perform Material Management related tasks as required by the laboratory., Receive and store specimens in order to ensure correct recording and handling of specimens.
