National Accountant (JB1454)
Industria West, Johannesburg
R50 – 55 000 per month, CTC
Duration: Permanent
Our client is a leading manufacturer with a national footprint in South Africa and are currently sourcing a National Accountant to consolidate financial information of all sites for accurate financial business decisions.
The ideal candidate must have worked on a national level, be self-motivated, possess strong numeric and analytical abilities, with high attention to detail and excellent reporting skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant Degree
Advanced Excel skills
Experience working with Syspro or similar
Previous experience in the manufacturing sector, beneficial
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Management
Prepare, collate and present monthly figures, business unit forecasts and management report
Review actuals against budget
Review General Ledger reconciliations and consolidate
Complete quarterly statutory packs, tax compilations and bi-annual and annual financial statements
Contribute and assist with the compilation of quarterly board packs
Financial Compliance and Operational Auditing
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Liaise with all parties related to compliance, auditing and/or financial management
Review the internal audit status update
Capital Expenditure
Facilitate the internal process for all capital expenditure, nationally
Ensure signatories are cone in time of the expected capex
Update and maintain the asset register
