Seeking a proficient Academic Programme Quality Manager to uphold the institution's mission, vision, and strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellence of our programmes. Your strong academic acumen and management skills will drive integrated quality enhancements across various aspects, including academic governance, accreditation, compliance, research, curriculum development, assessment, teaching, learning, and student success. Leading programme reviews as per the quality assurance framework established by the Council on Higher Education is also a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications:
Essential: Master’s Degree.
Preferred: Doctorate degree or progress towards a Doctorate.
Experience:
Essential: Minimum of6- 8 years of academic work experience in a higher education institution, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Preferred: More than 10 years of academic work experience in a higher education institution.
Strong academic specialization focus in relevant faculty areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Academic Governance and Management:
Lead quality management efforts, spanning from Accreditation and Compliance to Certification.
Oversee formal processes related to programme quality management.
Establish Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) and Programme Design, Development, and Review (PDDR) Committee, engaging internal and external academics as well as industry experts.
Develop, manage, and review Programme Quality Management and Curriculum Development and Management policies.
Prepare and manage departmental budget, monitoring expenditure and budget variances.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external academics, industry experts, and service providers to ensure effective collaboration and problem-solving for quality programme management.
Accreditation and Compliance:
Ensure the quality of all regulatory submissions for programme accreditation and re-accreditation.
Stay up-to-date with changes in education legislation and policy.
Programme Quality Management:
Take charge of scheduled maintenance and review of all programmes, aligning them with Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) expectations (teaching, learning, assessment, community engagement, and research).
Facilitate the articulation of programmes and new submissions within the school/faculty, aligning with the 3-year plan.
Enhance and streamline programme design, development, and review processes, providing training to internal academics and external subject matter experts as needed.
Establish Programme Advisory Boards to gather industry input for curriculum reviews and updates, both in initial design and ongoing reviews.
Seek endorsement of curriculum by relevant professional bodies when appropriate.
Monitor the full implementation of improvement plans.
Regulatory Bodies:
Prepare for and attend site visits related to academic programmes.
Participate in regulatory body and institutional Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, especially the focus areas of the Instructional Audit Framework.
Professional and Staff Development:
Engage in continuous professional development, independently upgrading your expertise.
Actively participate in staff development initiatives offered by the institution.
Organize and conduct training for programme developers, module writers, and moderators.
