Duration: Permanent
 
Coaches Scrum team (and organization) to deliver value incrementally, using best Agile/Scrum practices. Drives the execution of sprints by removing impediments, facilitating agile meetings, backlog reviews, sprint planning, sprint reviews, reporting (burndown charts, task progress) and day-to-day decision making. Drive retrospective meetings to help the team become more productive over time.
 
Facilitates an environment for the Scrum team to organize themselves around their work, helping them become self-aware to what is blocking results, and to influence them to become self-correcting, self-organizing and continuously improving the way they work. Utilizes strong listening and observation skills to engage the Scrum team when necessary to build connections.
 
Guides the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to get the most out of self-organization to fill gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. Facilitates discussion, decision making and conflict resolution while getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Assesses the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years previous Scrum Master or project management experience and/or relevant experience within a software development environment. 
 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job: 
Knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks. Strong knowledge of scrum theory, rules and practices.
Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc. 
Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs.
Scrum Master Certified preferred. 
Ability to understand and drive toward commitment to deliver the product on time.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills. 
Demonstrates strong accountability. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
JIRA experience a plus.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coach the team on the Scrum framework/practices: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, sprint retrospective. Coach Scrum team members who are new to Scrum/Agile apply the Scrum process and adopt an Agile culture and mindset.
Arrange and facilitate daily stand-ups, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, reviews and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation process. 
Help to motivate the team and keep them excited with a consistent focus on continuous improvement for the team and business. Protect team from outside distractions. 
Find and work to remove impediments or guide the team to remove these impediments by finding the right personnel to remove them.
Facilitate internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. 
Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
