Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining inventory, quality, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and maintaining stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and execute seasonal menus.
- Implement and enforce safety and sanitation standards.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Control food costs and minimize waste.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues swiftly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to excellence.
