Job Summary KITCHEN MANAGER - Established Upscale Restaurant (Stellenbosch Winelands) Our client, an upscale modern South African Restaurant in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands, offers a dynamic career opportunity to an experienced and energetic KITCHEN MANAGER. The property offers a 150-seater Restaurant which caters for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, a Private Dining Room (45-seater), and a well-supported Exclusive Events Venue, able to cater for group sizes of up to 300 guests. Looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager with sharp leadership skills with strong F&B Operational and Chef skills. Someone whom enjoys fast paced and high volume kitchen operations with a passion for the F&B industry. Strong ability to manage pressure, excellent administrative and interpersonal skills. Key Position Specs: In the role of kitchen manager, you will be responsible for Food orders, Inventory management, Stock takes, Overall kitchen operations relating to all food production and cooking activities, Pass and Staff management, Staff Rosters and Leave schedules, Supplier Liaison, Cleaning and Hygiene Cycles, Waste Management and stock rotation and managing of Par stock levels for the Restaurant and Event's Venue. The kitchen teams consists of 21 staff members.
