Job Description

Fish and Chip restaurant has a great opportunity for an experienced kitchen hand/cook to join the team.



Functions include but not limited to the following:



Setting up the shop at the start of the shift.

Food Preparation.

Cooking.

Serving customers.

Cleaning to a high standard.

Closing down the shop at the end of the shift.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30am to 6pm and Saturday 08:30m to 2pm

Minimum Requirements:



Must have

2 years experience

in a similar role, i.e. restaurant / cafe / fish and ship shop cooking experience.

Must be professional, courteous, and confident in the work environment.

Must have a passion for producing top quality food.

When cooking and serving customers we work quickly and efficiently, aiming to serve customers as quickly as possible.

Need to be able to work as part of a team.

He / she will be working in a very busy environment therefore needs to be quick and confident.

Must have excellent communication skills.
