A well established company based in Dunkeld is seeking a Sales Executive
Duties:
Always maintain a high level of professionalism and efficiency with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Maintain customer focus
Ensure attention to detail
Work within the team to achieve the common goal of reaching budgets and growing the business
Develop seasonal strategy for each retailer, identifying white spaces, gaps and pricing strategy
Research and present seasonal trends to customers quarterly
Thoroughly research retailer and competitor landscape by doing quarterly instore and online store visits
Range selection and development with retailers
Calculate pricing to retailers using costing template, ensuring margin targets are being met taking all costs (including testing, packing etc) and ROE into account
Quote retailers on product development in correct template, ensuring correct rebates and royalties are taken into account
Work closely with marketing department on relevant seasonal marketing campaigns to ensure sell through
Developing and sustaining good relationships with key buyers by setting up quarterly meetings and staying in touch through frequent calls and emails
Travel to customers quarterly for in-person meetings
Addressing and resolving key clients complaints.
Acting as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams (warehouse, product development, design & QA)
Expand business within existing retailers by continuously proposing ranges/ categories to category buyers
Maintaining up to date list of buying managers, buyers and planners per retailer
Work through all briefs from Buyers or online portals to ensure all details have been received
Working closely with product development team, ensure that all products are costed and developed to spec with the relevant supplier
Ensure that PD team brief design team on the following, in a timeous manor: fabrication, trims according to customer specifications
Work together PD team to ensure the brief is executed 100% for supplier and have signed off by the buyer
Create and update Buy plans for each customer with all relevant information
Raise all orders with factories, ensuring correct prices, packing and dates are clearly stated
Ensure that all orders are signed off by MD in timeous manner (1week)
Check all details on customer official order units, delivery, price
Instruct account head on ticketing requirements (local or China)
Track orders on shipment plans to ensure deliveries are on track and inform account head at warehouse to move orders out if there are any delays
Retrieve PIs from suppliers and ensure all the information is correct
Submit all FOB PIs onto relevant portal
Check CG PO, Customer PO , PI and picking slips are all correct to sign off
Create stock reserve Picking slips in the case of a stock buy to secure your order
Work closely with sales admin support team
Sell Offs
Analyse figures and SMR reports from the buyer
Go through each styles sell offs
E-mail buyer on any good sellers that we could react to
Monitor any average and bad sellers as well as out of line situations
Where customers are over selling offer stock from the open range to fill these gaps and make up extra sales, quick reaction
Preparation of the financial year budgets
Preparing all forecasted figures for the forthcoming months and sharing with account managers during monthly meetings
Ensuring budgets are being met and re-strategising constantly
Feedback on sales performance to directors in quarterly sales meetings
Requirements:
3-5 years experience within the Fashion / Retail Industry
Reliable transport
English speaking
