Salary: R600 000 R700 000 CTC per annum
About the Role:
Our client, a leading player in the FMCG industry, is seeking a dynamic Key Accounts Manager to join their team in Sandton. This role requires a strategic professional with a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to drive growth within key retail and wholesale accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow relationships with key retail and wholesale accounts.
Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and market share targets.
Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and promotional deals with key customers.
Monitor account performance and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.
Identify new business opportunities within existing and potential accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to inform strategy.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (advantageous).
Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Key Accounts Manager within the FMCG industry.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent understanding of FMCG retail and wholesale environments.
Commercially savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work under pressure.
