A leading player in the beverage industry is seeking an experienced and driven Key Accounts Manager (Specialist Beverages) to join their Sales and Operations team. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding strategic client relationships, particularly within the outsource catering segment and key regional groups. This is a full-time, hybrid position.
The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder with a proven ability to drive revenue growth, understand customer needs, and collaborate across departments to deliver innovative food and beverage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of regional and national key accounts, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Develop strategic partnerships by aligning product offerings to client needs and collaborating with R&D on new trends and innovations.
Maintain and manage gross margins while implementing timely pricing cycles.
Conduct regular sales reviews with clients and internal stakeholders.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through strategic account planning and execution.
Identify and pursue new key accounts across various channels to expand market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders within assigned accounts, addressing any service or product issues promptly.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity in the hot and cold beverage sector.
Collaborate closely with regional sales teams, R&D, marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure successful account execution.
Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, focusing on mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and its clients.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
3-4 years of experience in sales or key account management.
Specialised beverage industry experience, not generic
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Strategic mindset with solid sales acumen.
