Reporting to: Commercial Director - Prescription Division
Required Learning:
Bachelor's degree in business/sales or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years in sales management / key account management experience with at least 2 years in a senior management role, strategic customer management.
Sound knowledge of the overall pharmaceutical market including sales channels (Courier/Chains/Mines/Hospitals).
Computer literacy, and financial literacy.
Key Job Outputs:
Develop Key Strategic Account Plans in line with the Prescription Division Commercial Plans
Driving business growth & improving commercial execution (Growing Sales, Revenue, Gross margins, within Pharmacies & Wholesalers)
Develop Customer Key Account Management planning process and rollout
Implement measures to track progress and effectiveness within the business unit
Ensure strategies are well communicated down to the business
Drive successful strategy execution and ROI
To identify opportunities in the market for new products and new growth areas for the business
Analysis of sales, competitor and market share data, develop strategies and action plans to maximize commercial potential in the marketplace
To respond adequately and professionally to customer complaints and queries
Management of Commercial Investment and tools for assessment
Present monthly and weekly performance updates to the business
Prepare commercial budgets for the business unit
