SUMMARY:
-POSITION INFO:Our client is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Key Accounts Manager based in either KwaZulu-Natal or Johannesburg. This is a critical role focused on managing key client relationships within the coal mining and trading space, as well as driving growth through strategic partnerships and deal execution.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow existing key accounts within the mining and coal trading sector.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with reputable coal buyers and suppliers.
• Identify and engage with traceable coal traders and suppliers to secure consistent product availability.
• Drive business development activities across the mining value chain, targeting new clients and partners.
• Negotiate and close high-value trading deals with credible and verified entities.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain the highest standards of integrity in all transactions.
• Provide market insights and trend analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align operational execution with client requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the mining sector, specifically in coal trading.
• A strong network of traceable and reputable coal suppliers and buyers.
• Demonstrated success in a trading role, with verifiable references.
• In-depth understanding of the coal value chain,

, and market dynamics. * Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Based in KZN or Johannesburg.
• Available to start immediately.
